Going back to your earlier days of developing as an artist, can you tell me about your High School days and how it had an effect on your life ?

I went to LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.... I was inspired to go to the school because my brother was a dancer at the school. To be honest, I was actually inspired to go to Laguardia by an early mentor that I owe this success to. The tentative release date for my CD is set for Tuesday August 1st...... with a HUGE bash in NY to celebrate the album release! I am on vacation for the next three days ! It has been a busy month.....

the best news is that Gwen Stefani had her baby and the baby is healthy. I have more info coming soon, and pictures will be all over the net in a few days, but for the most part, all that matters is that Gwen is healthy and already running around.

Gwen  wasn't the only Oscar winner to pop out a baby over the Memorial Day weekend.  Mira Sorvino and her 24  yr old husband, Chris Backus, had their second child on Monday, a boy named Johnny. The  7 lb 14 oz who was born a week before his due date, joins his 1 1/2 yr old sister Mattea Angel.

Madonna has been known talk a good game when it comes to rejecting materialism, but when contract time comes around, look out! The Material Mom is reportedly set to bring home the largest concert special payday in history, thanks to NBC, which will shell out 15-million bucks to air a show based on her Confessions on a Dance Floor tour. Sp regardless of what the critics have to say about her and her performance, she is making it all happen in the bank, and that is all that matters .... That's not all folks.........Madonna may be picking up a few extra bucks modeling for H@M  clothing. Sweden's Daily Expressen says that the singer will be featured in a new campaign for  H@M which has previously used models such as Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss for other events ............

According to an insurance policy Mariah recently took out, her legs alone carry a price tag of  1 Billion dollar bills... yes 1 Billion........  The singer, who just signed on to star in the "Legs of a Goddess" ad campaign for Gillette razors,  is keeping her assets protected while she tours this summer//// I can only imagine what the premium is on that price.........

Karma is a byaaatttchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............. Get this one, Russell Crowe has reportedly been dumped from director Baz Luhrmann's epic romance that was  gpoing to team him up with Nicole Kidman..... Crowe was apparently was demanding script approval before committing to the  150 million dollar project........   Heath Ledger, didn't have the same demands and Luhrmann seems to like that.............Crowe offered to forego script approval, but as it seems , Luhrmann made his decision final and Heath is fine for the part.... and Nicole Kidman is fine with it as well......

Morgan Freeman is in final talks to join the cast of Gone, Baby, Gone, the directorial debut of Ben Affleck

Dukes of Hazzard 2 will start filming next month. Word is that the video release will star Kristin Cavalleri will take over the role as "Daisy Duke." Cavalleri is best known as one of the teens on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach.

 Paul Gleason, a character actor best known for playing the high school principal in The Breakfast Club and the police chief in Die Hard, died of lung cancer on Saturday at the age of 67. Remember him in Breakfast Club....... That's another detention, you want another day!  hahahahahahahah that movie was so hilarious...............

The new MyNetwork TV network will air Desperate Housewives reruns beginning in the fall of 2008. You will get plenty of DHW

There won't be any Pussycat Dolls produced or stuffed into stockings this Christmas. Toy giant Hasbro, which was readying a line of dolls based on the sexy singing group, has canceled its plans after  1000's of letters received all complained that the raunchy perception the Pussy Cat Dolls gave off to young girls deemed inappropriate for young children all together. New York City mom Lisa Flythe, who spearheaded the protest, told New York's Daily News that, "Every single person I spoke to was shocked that selling the dolls would even be considered. Once the juggernaut of protest starts rolling, it can be hard to stop."

Us Weekly shows the cover featuring Janet Jackson, and it proves that Janet Jackson has clearly gotten her weight under control. The singer appears on the issue, which hits stands today, in a tight shirt and bikini bottom and is clearly toned. The interview inside the magazine talks about her weight, her career, and how much support Jermain Dupri gave her as she made her comeback in the stuido.  Janet says, "Jermaine was incredibly supportive. I've never had someone love me so unconditionally the way he does, regardless of my size. He was never any different towards me. I would get embarrassed and he'd look at me and smile and tell me he loved me. It was the sweetest thing." Janet's new disc 20 Years Old is due in September......

Speaking of covers............... Here is a no cover story.........

Nicole Richie, that skinny little hoe is at it again, but this time she is being had......... She was scheduled to be on the cover of this month's Vanity Fair but was apparently canned  in favor of Anderson Cooper when she refused to dish on ex pal Paris Hilton. The funny thing is, usually she would be the one to dish, but it looks like there might be some repair in her life now that everyone else in the industry is mad at Paris.  According to the New York Post, the glossy celebrity monthly has begun playing hardball with star in which they are refusing to put their faces on the cover if they don't serve up a helping of dirt !!!!! How funny is that!  When Vince Vaughn refused to discuss Jennifer Aniston and Britney Spears declined to talk about Kevin Federline, they were reportedly canned  as cover subjects as well.

Dreamgirls is coming to a theatre near you with a funny story to boot. Jamie Foxx  tells BBC Radio, "The toughest thing in the movie was having to kiss Beyonce, thinking that Jay Z was going to kick my ass." Dreamgirls is due in theaters in limited release on December 22nd and wide release in early 2007.  Jamie Foxx will also take part in the empowerment seminars at the Essence Music Festival in Houston in July, and then he will  join Queen Latifah in the forthcoming HBO film Life Support, which looks at the AIDS epidemic in the black communities throughout the US.

Britney Spears has taken a lot of heat for her mothering skills over the past three weeks......  A grip of mothers are coming to her rescue WWW.Parenting.com, When asked if the media has gone too far over the whole perception of BS as a mother, the answer was  "yes" to the question for 75% of the response " Editor Janet Chan says that the fuss over Spears' nearly falling down while holding son Sean Preston was the tipping point for a good many readers. She tells the Associated Press, "I'm not sure this means Britney Spears will be in every mom's Hall of Fame. But this one caused them to say, 'Hey, now we're just picking on her.'"

Paris Hilton just can't seem to keep naked pictures of herself off the Internet, and we all love it when that happens..... . First there were those sex tapes, whcih were everywhere on the net. Then there were those nudie snaps from her hacked cell phone, which are still on the net . Now comes a video of Paris accidentally yanking off her bathing suit top while shooting a music video on Malibu beach. How that girl ever manages to stay in her clothes is a mystery.

Well, if you don't know already, Tyler Hicks is the new American Idol... go figure.........  Mcphee was much better than him, but not anything compared to the past American Idol winners............ that is just my opinion...... sucks huh ?

Speaking of award shows, the Tony Awards will have no host, which they think will be sooooo much easier, a new twist, it might just catch on. Oprah Winfrey, Hank Azaria, Glenn Close, Bernadette Peters, Mark Ruffalo, Liev Schreiber and Kyra Sedgwick will join Julia Roberts and hand out statuettes at the June 11th Tony Awards on CBS. After un-successfully searching for a host, producers have decided to let the presenters do all the talking......

Wow the drama between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is growing and it is showing too. Friends close to Katie Holmes are starting to blab about some of the drama, but this seems to be the best news out of the wood. Suri Cruise will be taking her first road trip, and according to Life and Style magazine, Tom Cruise is PISSED. The celebrity weekly reports that Tom blew his rod when  Katie Holmes said she wanted to take their little one back to her hometown of Toledo, Ohio, to show her off to family and friends. According  to a close source, the drama ended with Katie yelling, "I'm doing this, and you can't stop me."  Sounds like something Tom would try to control!

                      Here's another Tom in the entertainment world, and this one is SANE, and now he has new hair !

Tom Hanks may be the test monkey for new hair growth, and if you see him in his film, The Da Vinci Code, it looks like it is working....A dermatologist tells the New York Post that Hanks, whose hair had been noticeably thinning during the past few years, looks as if he's been  using this new hair growth pill, Propecia. Tom's  publicist tells the paper she hasn't "a clue" if Hanks is on the hair pill......... well if he is using the pill, that pill is working, because Tom has been all over TV doing publicity for The Da Vinci Code, and the hair is looking FULL.....

"Deena Jones" star Beyonce breaks it down for all of you Dreamgirls fans .... or future Dreamgirls fans, that is, Beyonce Knowles  tells Britain's Mirror newspaper, "I was starving for six months, but I made it through. I literally fasted. I drank a drink that gave me all the vitamins I needed, and I didn't eat for 14 days and then I just drank protein shakes. It was hard, I felt weak, but I did it. It wasn't healthy, though. I don't look like me at all in the film, which was the point. But immediately the next day I ate fried chicken, fried fish, French fries, anything fried, and the weight started to come on really fast and easy." Beyonce is working on a follow up to her 2003 debut solo disc Dangerously in Love........... The CD is almost done, and the first single off the new CD will be produced with Swisssssssssss Beats.......... it's said to make you dance even harder than before.

Christina Aguilera is said to be aiming for the  silver screen for  a role that  should be perfect for her. Christina Aguilera is in talks to play stripper Tempest Storm in a big screen film that's due to go into production at the end of the year. Producers say X-Tina is "perfect" to portray the dirty dancer, who showed her assets to such big names as Elvis Presley and John F. Kennedy over the course of her 20 year career.......

Michelle Rodriguez has some drama!  If you think your having a bad bad bad day, then read this, because this is a woman having a bad 6 months.....   Michelle Rodriguez.  got busted for drunk driving in Hawaii and got sentenced to five days in jail (and did three days hard time before getting released), then her character on Lost was killed off, and now she's heading back to jail!!!!!!. A judge in LA warned her that if she got into any more alcohol trouble, he would throw her the book....... After this Hawaii ordeal the judge  slapped Rodriguez with a 60 day sentence plus 30 days community service for the Hawaii bust. That's what you get if your on probation in LA and you break your deal with the judge. Rodriguez is scheduled to begin her jail term on next Wednesday.

Jessica Alba could wind up married to Cash Warren, however friends in the biz say that Jessica is moving to NY no matter. According to Star magazine, Cash popped the question last month. Cash is allegedly worried that Alba is planning a move to New York to do some theatre work, and he's hoping that if he marries her, she'll stay with him in LA, which everyone in the business is saying WON'T HAPPEN. 

Nick Lachey is said to be kicking his game with Natasha Bedingfield!!!  Smart man, he picks them girls that are going to blow up so he can build up his worth vicariously through the woman's check book. Natasha's  been riding high on the US charts with the hit "Unwritten." London's Sun says the pair hooked up after one of Natasha's shows, and that they were huddled together and they certainly were enjoying each other's company! A source says, " while everyone else in their group was dancing on tables, they were sitting next to each other, very close. They were laughing and looking into each other's eyes in a rather romantic way. Beyonce is not even concerned with Rhianna and this whole internet drama building up that they are hanging out ( Rhianna and Jay Z ) a little too much........ Reuters Entertainment News sheds a little light on this. Beyonce is more indulged with the good news about this  20 minute screening of Dreamgirls ended with enthusiastic response ...... including an extended standing ovation and shouts for "more!" This all went down at the Cannes Film Festival last week.  Bruce Willis, Hugh Jackman and Sir Ian McKellen were all in the audience watching the film clip. Beyonce Knowles, who plays lead singer "Deena Jones" in the film adaptation of the  Broadway musical, says there was no Hollywood pressure to drop the 20 pounds she lost for the role. She tells Reuters, "Oh no, that was my idea. The director Bill Condon actually kept telling me to 'eat, eat, eat' for continuity, but I really wanted to go all the way. I was inspired by Tom Hanks. He did it all the way in Castaway, so I said, I can do it all the way." Dreamgirls is due in theaters in January.

Mariah Carey will hit the road  on a 30 show tour that kicks off in Miami on August 5th. The trek, which has been dubbed The Adventures of Mimi: The Hits, The Voice, The Tour, will wind up on October 10th in Phoenix. Dancehall star Sean Paul will open about a dozen of the shows. Tickets for most dates will go on sale on June 2nd. This show might also have a Pepsi show in LA for the grand kick off... the premiere ! 

 Kelly Clarkson has some bad news for you if you are expecting her to sing her hits like " Because of You " when she tours........  Kelly says that even though she wrote "Because of You" as a way to shake her negative feelings about her family life, she has trouble performing it in concert. Kelly recently told Britain's Now magazine, "I'm not going to lie, I don't like singing it all the time, but then I meet people who are touched by the song and that means more to me. There's nothing more comforting than knowing somebody else is in your shoes and you see that they've got past it and it's inspiring. Still, I don't know if I can sing it every night."

Kevin Costner  goes to court..... On Native Soil: The Documentary of the 9-11 Commission Report, narrated by Kevin Costner and Hilary Swank, will debut on Court TV this summer, just before the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks. It will be released on DVD by LionsGate around the same time. I love Kevin Costner's acting talents..... he is one to learn from.

The next time you tell your kids to get LOST, they just might ask you to pitch in to help..... Look for the first "Lost" videogame from French game maker Ubisoft ...... in stores just in time for Christmas 2007. Watch what youu ask for..... you just might get it.

MGM has picked up distribution rights to Home of the Brave, so you can go out and scooop it up....... Home of The Brave is  a feature starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel and 50 Cent as soldiers adjusting to life back in the US after tours of duty in the Iraq War, from director Irwin Winkler. More information coming soon !

The Da Vinci Code made 77 Million over the weekend..............

funny, we live in a world where we will spend 77  Million on watching a movie, and that 77 Million could have fed the hungry and sheltered the homeless for 6 months................................. yeah yeah yeah, it's just a thought, too bad the money was spent on a fictitious story about god, religion, jesus, and the reason we should spend more time and energy on helping the less fortunate, and not as much time on a movie and it's fictitious meaning............ blah blah blah.....

Well as it is, riding a HUGE wave of controversy and hype, The Da Vinci Code  earns the year's biggest opening yet with 77 Million dollars brought in. The controversial film, starring Tom Hanks is mainly about a mystery involving Jesus Christ's supposed offspring, earned over 224 million dollars worldwide, which is the 2nd  best debut ever at the international box office.

Lindsay Lohan and Sean Bean will star in a  feature version of Oscar Wilde's A Woman of No Importance........... and that fits Lindsay Lohan's perception of the hollywood commuity that was laughing at the latest video that hit the net on www.tmz.zom =
 

Internet rumors are suggesting Rihanna is getting between Jay Z and Beyonce, but that is just that... RUMORS, and Rhianna has something to say that should clear this all up.  Rhianna said, "She is like my idol," on behalf of her thoughts about Beyonce. www.MediaTakeOut.com has a report on line from Jay Z's camp that says,  "It takes a lot to groom an artist and Jay's just putting in the work." Second, according to Us Weekly, Rihanna is getting busy with Nick Cannon, and she is HAPPY on that alone.  I think the media in some sick strange way is playing a part in this wanna be fight on the internet, and it takes a little responsibility to say.... lose it, Rhianna has no interest in being with Jay Z, they are friends and he is grooming her to be successful all around the block

Oprah Winfrey is about to make  Bill Clinton's record 12 mil dollar  advance for his autobiography for "My Life" small talk.  Oprah, who shelved her own memoir a few years ago, is reportedly getting wayyyyy more than 12 Mil for an upcoming fitness book with her personal trainer, Bob Greene. The book will be out from Simon and Schuster in January. According to the New York Post, will earn Oprah the highest advance in all of our history for a non-fiction book.

Lindsay Lohan drama is all over the net now......... The reason why Paris Hilton has suddenly been onto  Lindsay Lohan is because of Stavros Niarchos. This past Sunday, Lindsay reportedly was barred from a weekly jam session held by That '70s Show star Danny Masterson at a jazz club in Hollywood. According to reports on www.la.com , Lindsay appealed, via cell phone, to her ex Wilmer Valderrama, who was inside the club, however Masterson wasn't having it, saying "he didn't want her in because he doesn't respect the way she lives her life." The result? Lindsay "screamed at the top of her lungs and threatened to call the cops," according to witnesses near the club.....

Pink issued a statement through PETA, saying, "One or two Canadian bears are killed for each hat and that's totally unnecessary when they could be wearing fake fur instead. I think the Queen will listen to me because there is no reason for the guards to continue to wear these when animals are being killed just so they look good. It's a work in progress."

Ok, today is a little less congested with entertainment information........ the blunt of the news was simply weekend dramas

                      so here we go... with the best news first !

Lindsay may be a tramp around Hollywood these days and Jessica Simpson might be the one to call her out....... You remember how Jessica Simpson was turning to Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine for comfort, well so is Lindsay ! Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson recently got into a cat fight over director Brett Ratner, according to the tabloids, but that may have only been round one, or, better yet, that is round 1! Star magazine gives this dirt, Lohan got so fed up watching Ratner flirt with a group of Victoria's Secret models at a recent party at his house, so she decided to roll over to Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine's casa, where she spent the night. Jessica is probably steamed pissed! This is funny, because just a few days ago Lindsay made it a point to make it known that she was going to try to scoop Nick Lachey and hook him up with a little side loving, because of the dog he is, according to Lindsay! Here is the outcome to that....... Nick is doing a lot of radio publicity for his new record that drops soon, and instead of the music, air talent are just interested in hearing this dirt, so Nick Lachey is playing into it as well..... Nick is like, Lindsay doesn't have an ice cube chance in hell at getting with this !  hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

I have an idea, someone tell Ryan Seacrest to just shut up. Ryan keeps fueling the fire during interviews with the media, and making reference to Paula's drinking etc......... A close AI pal  says, "Paula and Ryan were once good friends. They started bickering last year and it finally escalated into a full-blown feud. Christina Aguilera's fans will have to wait a little bit longer to hear her next album, like 6 months later....... Aguilera's album has been pushed back from a summer release date to sometime in the fall.  X-Tina did complete a video for the disc's first single, "Ain't No Other Man," in Hollywood this past weekend. Linda Perry, who worked closely with Aguilera on the project, confirms that her new sound will surprise some people. Perry tells MTV, "It's a very mature, very risky album of old-school jazzy blues. You're gonna think that these songs were recorded and written back in 1940."  hmmmmmmmmmmm I just want to see Christina Aguilera shake her ass some more...... that is all I want ........ save the style and music change for a true fan, and show me some X tina booty !

The actress spent 60 hours in Hawaii's Oahu Correctional Center, where she was placed in a dorm setting with about 60 other women. That is nothing ....... Rodriguez is not totally in the clear, however. She's serving three years probation after pleading no contest in 2004 in Los Angeles to three traffic violations, including drunken driving.
