Justin Timberlake launched his William Rast clothing line last night in LA as part of that city's annual Fashion Week explosion. Not surprisingly enough to one's predictability after hearing Sexy Back a few times, Justin's first foray into fasion is getting into his jeans.....  William Rast, a line of jeans for both men and women. Timberlake broke it down to the Los Angeles Times that he and childhood pal William Ayala were involved in every aspect of designing the pants, which will soon retail for between $40.00 and $200.00 depending on the style you fancy.... Justin said he wanted the designs to be "as non-glossy as possible. In my music I mix hip-hop, rock, electronica - I don't know what it is, but it sounds good to me. Beyonce is rollin ! 

Beyonce's new song Irreplaceable is blowing up, and that is just the start, she has the lead single on the soundtrack to Dreamgirls. The singer co-wrote "Listen," which hits your favorite radio station DJ's this week...... A video for the song will premiere on November 13th. A track listing for the C-D, due December 5th, isn't available yet, but "One Night Only" has also been released as a dance track. The album will also be available in a two-disc edition with extra music from the movie. Beyonce will perform at the American Music Awards on November 21st, but there's no word whether she'll do a number from Dreamgirls or her solo album B-Day.

Madonna........ yeah yeah, it's her again 

Apparently, Madonna was so excited to adopt a little boy from the African country of Malawi, she tried to bypass the system in order to get him home faster, which is against the law.......  Apparently there are months of screening families must go through in order to adopt, to protect the children, and Madonna just tried to swoop the child and roll out.......

Madonna was "in tears" leaving him behind when she was told she could not yet take him from the country.

Tonight Diddy takes the TV to a whole new level...... Tonight Thursday...... BET 

BET premieres the Diddy Documentary, Black and White: Portrait of Sean Combs tonight at 8:00 pm ET. Diddy talks about the issues that have effected his life on this television special, such as the pressures of staying on top and the loss of his father at a very young age. He says, "It's called Black and White because it's shot in black and white and it's very to the point. It's like a sit-down confessional interview that was done from a perspective of somebody that wasn't a writer and bringing a lot of past information to the table, asking questions that were human and real questions." Diddy says his new album Press Play, released earlier this week, also offers fans a look at his personal journey. "I think every artist at one point needs that release, when there's so much things that swirl around about them. Jay-Z's single " Show Me What You Got"  is being gotten all over the net....... There was a leak, someone with strong ties to the music, and Def jam is not too happy. While no one knows who the person is behind the leak is, sources recently told www.AllHipHop.com  that Def Jam has launched an internal investigation, Www.allhiphop.com "The FBI may do an investigation into this," an anonymous source told AllHipHop.com. "Everything has been under lock and key, so we have no idea how the single was leaked."

"Show Me," which samples a saxophone loop originally used on Public Enemy's "Show Em Whatcha Got" from the group's 1988 Def Jam album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, hit the Internet today ........ it's out there..... and Def Jam is not happy.....

In other Jay Z news..... There's new Jay Z tracks and shoes that make yha play JAY Z....

LA Reid tells Billboard that Kingdom Come will be in stores on November 21st and that it will include guests like Coldplay's Chris Martin, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West, and then some......... He says, "This is the biggest album of the year." As we've reported, the single "Show Me What You Got" was leaked to the Internet last week, and now being played in New York, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Jigga has already filmed a video for the song with Indy car driver Danica Patrick. In the F. Gary Gray-directed clip, Jigga and Patrick race through the winding roads of Monaco in sports cars....... How, well, jigga style........

Jay Z is now getting banned by China.............. The Chinese government has banned Jay-Z from playing a concert in Shanghai as part of his world tour ... The date October 23rd at Hongkou Football Stadium has been canceled. According to reports, China's Ministry of Culture supposedly banned Jigga because of the vulgarity in some of his lyrics.

With that, Jigga teamed up with Anheuser-Busch to serve as a brand co-director for Budweiser Select... meaning, he will be running shi*! Let's recap.......he's in a commercial for Budweiser Select, The NBA, but Jay Z isn't stopping there. He's teaming up with ESPN to develop a scripted boxing series titled Hit Men. The show will tell the story of a group of athletes who work out at the Hit Men Boxing Club, a gym run by former boxer "Frank Cerrones." Both Jigga and Def Jam will get executive producer credits. The pilot is set to go into production the first week of December in Louisiana........ and for you fans that like to sip.........

It was filmed during a single interview that took place for about 6 1/2 hours straight on July 22nd. They donated $100,000 dollars to the Daniel Pearl Foundation yesterday .. which would have been Pearl's 43rd birthday. Another fine a&& supermodel is climbing out of the dating game....  Niki Taylor, who survived a near-fatal car crash that left her having to have over 40 surgeries since 2001, has gotten engaged to a NASCAR driver!  hmmmmmm Burney Lamar, who is probably doing all the driving in that relationship. This Weekend, were getting Departed.........

One of the big movies opening this weekend is The Departed.... my pick for the weekend if your looking for mob style adventure..... The crime thriller from director Martin Scorsese stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a cop who goes undercover in the Boston mob and Matt Damon as a crook undercover in the Boston Police Department. Jack Nicholson, Martin Sheen, Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Anderson and Alec Baldwin are also in the movie, making for a thriller, suspenseful, and crazy..... FYI ! " The Departed " is based on the 2002 Hong Kong film Infernal Affairs

Wahlberg returned to his juvenile delinquent roots lifestyle while shooting The Departed in his hometown of Boston. He says, "My growing up there has an effect on everything I do, whether it's obvious or not. I didn't have to do much homework. The only difference was that I was playing one of the cops that used to arrest me all of the time. I know a lot of those guys. You either become a crook or a cop or a construction worker in Boston -- there's not too much in between." Guess we'll have to check it !

Doctor Phil McGraw's attempt to get people to lose weight has cost him close to 11-Million dollars. McGraw has settled a class-action lawsuit over his Shape Up diet plan...... The plan called for customers to use $120 dollars worth of pills a month "to take control of your weight."  Doctor Phil has agreed to send eligible customers either replacement products or a small cash award. Janet Jackson has a flop on her hands, ( possibly ) a few flops, but then again, she was looking like Flipper anyways...... As you may remember, she was on Oprah saying she was gaining weight for a movie ( Tennessee ) but the word on the streets is that the producers and the director NEVER asked for her to gain weight for that role... so it looks like Janet was woofin....  She was telling anyone who'll listen that she put on 60 pounds for her part in the Lee Daniels movie .... which she dropped out of to work on the album 20 YO.... Well.... the part will now be played by Mariah Carey, who hasn't put on weight for the film, but then again, she's getting kinda big too, I think she needs some serious LA Weight Loss.....

He tells Billboard about the future release, "Jimmy Iovine wants to put it out in December. If not, they'll shoot for the beginning of next year. Right now, I'm just writing a whole bunch of songs that can easily be rendered and manipulated in any type of direction once they are written. I have to push the envelope, but not too far and not just for the sake of pushing it." ... an FYI, Will-I_Am is working with Nas (Hip-Hop Is Dead...The N), Snoop Dogg (The Blue Carpet Treatment) and The Game (The Doctor's Advocate) ... so you will hear a LOT from him in 2007 !  So what about the rest of the Peas.....

Look for Themes for the Ordinarily Strange, the debut album by Airpushers, hitting stores tomorrow. Multi-instrumentalists Printz Board and Tim Izo Orindgreff started laying down funky instrumentals in their spare time about three years ago, and at first pressed up a few C-Ds for their friends. When a new independent label heard the tracks, the project got more serious, and name vocalists were called in to help out withe rest of the project......  Tim and Printz, who co-wrote such Peas favorites as "My Humps," "Where Is the Love?" and "Don't Phunk With My Heart," say Airpushers gives them musical freedom they don't have in the Peas, and tomorrow you can hear it all go down....... They hope to expand the lineup and do some live shows while the four main Peas are off promoting solo projects in the coming months.

By the way, The Peas are still touring, and they are hitting the road from now until November 22nd to do shows in Canada and beyond ! .... so relax on the idea that they are breaking up, that is not happening ! 

In the meantime, Brandy appears on the track "Thought You Said" on Diddy's forthcoming Press Play, due October 17th, but it might just be released on October 3rd..... keep posted!

TI ! he is planning a release too ! TI's upcoming album, TI Versus Tip is in the works..... In addition to working on the film American Gangster, Tip revealed to us he's already recorded 40 tracks for the new effort. But even with that many tracks laid down, he's not done recording ...... he says, "I plan to work with Eminem, Jay Z, OutKast, if possible, Jeezy .... you know the people I'm cool with. As far as] producers .... same ol' same ol'  DJ Toomp, Khao, Lil' C, Grand Hustle producers, Black Mob. I'd love to work with Timbaland if possible, if our schedules can align. Scott Storch, of course, and Jazze Pha. I got a wish list."  A tentative release date is set for March 2007!

Lastly, Ciara is also featured at MTV.com with info on her new CD she is working on, looks like it can be in your collection on December 5th ! Be on the lookout, it's coming .

Lindsay Lohan....... and Daddy......... and more DRAMA !

Lindsay's father has been having a hard time reaching out to Lindsay.... Maybe because Lindsay is too Hollywood now to understand the importance of a father.... M. Lohan sent Lindsay a smoke signal from his prison cell through a London tabloid.....  Michael Lohan, as you know is in jail for bashing Lindsay's uncle in the head with his shoe, and a few other dealings. Well daddy dearest sent a lengthy handwritten "Dear Lindsay" open letter to the London Sun, so he could get Lindsay's attention. He went on to add that "it's evident that my letters never reach you." In the letter, Michael apologizes for "the heartache and embarrassment" he's brought on to Lindsay and he tells Lindsay she's "an amazingly blessed, talented, intelligent and loving person" who should use her skills to "do good,"  un-like his actions that landed in the prison he sits in..............

There's more drama in Lindsay's life....... Supposedly, Sunday night she told her publicist that her and her man were still together..... Then she split to a club " The Dragon fly" where she was seen making out with Paris Hilton's former fiance Stavros.... which makes me wonder when he has anytime to build ships, he is ALWAYS out clubbin......... anyways...  This girl is stuck on stupid..... and Morton aint having it, at all...... I suppose the movie " Just My Luck " would have been better if it told this story and the last 10 that came out of Hollywood on her..... 

Jason Wahler, the star of Laguna Beach, wasn't having it when he was stopped by a traffic cop that was going to have his car towed, apparently. On Friday, Wahler and a female friend were arrested and charged with battery on a traffic cop and tow-truck driver in LA. The official charge seems to have been misdemeanor battery. Jason was released on  $20,000 bail. FYI time....... About three weeks ago, Wahler was arrested in New York City for disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and bribery. This all went down after he was standing in the street and creating a public disturbance. Once he was firsked by the police officer, he allegedly tried to bribe the cop who allegedly found cocaine in his pants pocket. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Kevin Federline ( K-Federweed) says he doesn't pay any attention to the so-called-haters when it comes to his music, but he's definatley paying attention to the music critics that were bashing his music selection!  K-Fed has quietly decided to dump (PapoZao)  ...  Just to be on the safe side, K-Fed decided to go another route for a better guarantee at success...... Kev decided to replace the song with a song called "Crazy," which just happens to feature guest vocals by a little-known singer named Britney Spears. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm ! In other news around that family, Britney is getting a full work out every day to get back in shape..... she wants to rebound right back into the game..... We'll see !

Courtney Love ..... this is comedy all by itself.... hahahahahah .... After several trips to  rehab and trouble with the law, Courtney Love says she's on the road to recovery. hmmmmm, just like last time, hahahahahah... OK, so now she's chronicled her life for a new documentary. The still-untitled piece ( my guess   'Coke Head' ) follows Courtney on her path to sobriety, and joins her in the studio where she's working on a new solo album. The documentary will air in Britain. There's no word yet if it will air in the US.............. There is so much talent here in the US, just watch 'Americas Got Talent '.... so why do we waste our time on her ? anyways !

Who is Jibbs ? This is a question you might ask if you haven't already ! Jibbs is a 15-year-old St. Louis  looking to follow in the footsteps of Nelly and Chingy, oh, and he is well on his way. Before I get started, he is being requested to death at radio and he already has one of the most downloaded ring tones on my space...... "Chain Hang Low" is a remake of the children's sing-along-song, "Ear Hang Low" -- which is similar to when Nelly made his first mark with "Country Grammar" , so now you see the footsteps...... If you buy a copy of Paris Hilton's new CD in England, you could come home with a special edition which features a cover photo of a topless Hilton with a dog's head and a sticker promising such "hits" as "Why Am I Famous?"

It's all part of a well put together prank by a "guerrilla artist" who calls himself Banksy. Banksy, who's done this kind of thing before, tampered with close to 500 copies of Paris for sale in British record stores, according to the BBC. Even the disc is different.......  Get this, the plot was so well put together that  a rep for Virgin Mega stores says .... "I have to take my hat off  it's a very good stunt." ... The staff is busy trying to track down the pirated CD's that are out and about.........

If you weren't aware of the awards show that took place last night, it's like awards week.....  Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Jimmy Jam and Terri Lewis received Icon Awards at last night's BMi Urban Awards at New York's Roseland Ballroom. Mariah Carey took two top honors .....  Song of the Year for "We Belong Together" and Songwriter of the Year, which she shared with Miami-based producers Bigg D and Jim Jonsin. Producer of the Year went to Kanye West for the second year in a row. The Ringtone honor went to Jazze Pha's "1-2 Step." get that one ! ! ! !  Ne-Yo and Bobby Valentino also got some love. Among the stars in the crowd ....... Avant, Rodney Jerkins, Johnta Austin and T Pain !

Football gets the ( it's going down man ) Yung Joc, who has joined the festivities for the NFL's opening kickoff on NBC. His performance will tape on September 7th. Other artists participating include Cassie, Diddy and Tego Calderon. Football also means PINK ! The kick-off of football season is getting  Pink too! Pink has recorded a theme song for NBC's new Sunday Night Football. "Waiting All Week for Sunday Night," which is presented to the likes of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You," and will debut on September 10th, before a game between the Colts and New York Giants. To drop some love to you footballers...... Pink said, "I'm such a huge football fan, and this is something so different for me ......... it's like hearing yourself on the radio for the first time."
