Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill that bans texting while driving ! That means that silly ass woman driving next to me every morning on the way to work is getting a phat ass ticket if she gets caught texting and driving... HELL YEAH ! You'd be surprised at all the texting-related accidents on the road. There are a few other dramas on the road that are causing a series of freak accidents....... too funny..... while applying make up, a woman caused a 5 car pile up..... wow.... there are a host of other things besides the cell phone ....

Lil Wayne, Big Boi, Bun B, Wyclef Jean, Kid Rock and Q-Tip are among the artists hitting the stage at the fifth annual VH1 Hip-Hop Honors on October 2nd at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom to perform for you......... This year's celebration will pay tribute to Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Naughty by Nature, Slick Rick and Too Short. Other artists taking part to show some love..... include Biz Markie, D-J Kaos, Ghostface Killah, MC Lyte, Scarface, actress Sanaa Lathan and comedians Cheech and Chong will be cracking jokes like they crack the pipe............ Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan will once again host the event ........ The VH1 Hip Hop Honors will air on VH1 on October 6th.

Breaking News !!!!

Travis Barker, the infamous .... heavily tattooed drummer who came to fame in Blink 182 and reality television " Meet The Barkers" , was critically injured in a plane crash last night. As of reporting time for this tragedy, 4 people were killed shortly before midnight as Cali bound learjet was taking off from an airport in Columbia, South Carolina. It was soon-after reported by Air traffic controllers at Columbia Metropolitan Airport that sparks were coming from the plane as it taxied for takeoff, and watched as it veered off the runway and crashed into trees on a nearby road.

Barker had just performed for 10-thousand + people at a free outdoor T-Mobile promotional event with DJ AM, Perry Farrell and Gavin DeGraw. Barker was removed to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia, and listed in critical condition. DJ AM was taken to the same facility, also in critical condition...........

The four dead have been identified as pilot Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, Barker's assistant Chris "Little Chris" Baker and Barker's security guard, Charles Still.

Looks like it might do good. 50 Cent has a role as "Spider" in Righteous Kill. 50 Cent breaks it down and tells http://www.BlackTree.tv , "Spider is 28 years old, interesting... He's from Harlem, he owns a nightclub. He's a real entrepreneur with the wrong direction." According to the interview, The film revolves around two cops chasing a serial killer who is busy creating poems based on the murders he commits and leaves them at the scenes of the crimes. Righteous Kill features Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, 50 Cent, John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg .... and will be in theatres this Friday....

Beyonce will release her next CD on November 18th. The singles "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies" will hit radio stations on October 7th. Beyonce supposedly pulled Kanye West into the mix early this year, and he will apparently be featured .... As you know, Ye is also going to be on Jay Z's CD too, so you will get a LOT of Ye in the mix.... Ye has a new CD coming that he is doing in Auto Toner........ Yayyyy ! Another T-pain sounding CD, as if T-Pain wasn't already all over the spot. Back to Beyonce.. B ( according to the latest internet report ) co-wrote or co-produced all the material. According to her label associates, this material coming is...... "her most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date." Justin Timberlake will also be featured so it looks like another big win for B and Jay'z's joint bank account.

New Akon CD is coming

It might be safe to say that Akon hasn't quite learned his lesson when it comes to interacting with his s-called fans. As yu may or may not know.... Akon begins trial in December in Fishkill, New York for tossing a teenage fan into the audience at a concert in June 2007 after the fan had thrown something at him... Akon had his security bring the dude to the stage then he picked the fan up and tossed the fan into the crowd...... Now Akon is at it again as seen in the video above.... The video shows he seemingly struck a fan in the face ( possibly on accident ) at a show over Labor Day weekend in the South American nation of Guyana. Watch the video and judge for yourself......

Acquitted, Akon's third disc, is slated for release in November. Akon is gearing to introduce "Euro Club" into his sound, just to change up the sound of Hip Hop...... Akon reports to Premiere prep....... "I had to do something that everyone else wasn't doing. You know how you set a trend and everyone gravitates to it? It's almost like I had to re-invent myself and create another sound for this new album. I'm very anxious to see how the people receive it." Akon is apparently not talking about any possible collaborations but he promises to Premiere Prep......., "You'll love it." Now maybe he can take a break from his 20 wives, throwing kids off stage, and slappin fans,,,, and relax

I wanted to do some cool stuff for kids to start off with, some hats just to get my foot in the door, because hopefully we'll do another deal next season and have a wide array of designs and stuff for the hats." Brown goes on to say that it comes natural to be creative and design..... "I always draw all the time. Notebooks, sketchbooks, tables, walls... I just draw all the time. As far as the hats go, I had an initial design of what I wanted, and then they had another artist tweak my idea, enhance it, and so that's how we worked it up." Ladies and Germs...... It's the fifth annual Fashion Rocks event ( which ) was taped at Radio City Music Hall in New York Friday. The show is hosted by Denis Leary, which is on tonight for (2) hours of non-stop fashion !!!!! Check it on CBS at 9 pm Eastern Time......... The styles and musicals tastes go from Country to Motown and to Rock.... and adding in the soothing sounds of Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Rihanna, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, Ashanti and Fergie who, as you also know were among those who joined forces to sing the inspirational fundraiser "Just Stand Up." ..... There is a video of that performance below !

Fashion Rocks kicked all ass, and you will see it tonight.... Rihanna opened the show with a highly choreographed cover of Madonna's "Vogue," and it was on FIRE ........ Mary J. performed a duet with Kid Rock as they covered The Temptations with "(I Know I'm) Losing You." The Black Eyed Peas definatelty did what they do best...... They funked up The Rolling Stones' "Miss You," while Fergie did the solo tip on Blondie's "Call Me," joined briefly by the song's original singer, Debbie Harry which made the entire performance epic and memorable....

Then, Justin Timberlake did a spectacular falsetto rendition of Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" and then got back to doing it big with Beyonce with the duet......... "Ain't Nothin' Like the Real Thing." Beyonce then came back out and sang Etta James' "At Last" while the song's originator ( 70 years old ) watched from an orchestra seat. As you already know, Beyonce Knowles is portraying James in the upcoming film Cadillac Records, so this was definitely a treat for him to see face to face........ Solange ( B's sister ) did "I Decided" with two backup singers who altogether looked like The Supremes, all thag was missing was Beyonce........ In another big production number, LL Cool J introduced Chris Brown, who was looking mighty happy, maybe because his hats are already selling through the roof....... Chris Brown sang a bit of Sam Cooke's "Cupid" before bouncing on a trampoline to kick off his own version of "Forever." soooo watch it all go down tonight..... AMAZING !

Britney Spears opened the VMA'a and took home (3) awards.... I don't see how but she did.... WHATEVER.......... She was the big winner at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood. Britney Spears stole the show..... taking Video of the Year, Spears' "Piece of Me" took. awards for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video. Other BIG winners included Chris Brown, who took home Best Male Video for "With You," and Lil' Wayne made big things happen with "Lollipop" and also......... Best Rap Video. Lil' Wayne performed as well as T-I, Rihanna and Kanye West, ( tore it up yhallllll! !!!!! who concluded the 25th edition of the annual show with a performance of his new single "Love Lock Down." Kwame Kilpatrick Must Resign From Office, Spend Four Months In Jail

Cheating On the WIFEY, go to jail.... hahahah ! ? Not a good deal... just ask Kwame Kilpatrick who JUST MIGHT ,,,,,,, just might be the only person in Detroit who is either surprised or dismayed that he wasn't able to finagle and and shambooozle a better plea deal from the pissed off prosecutors in his pissed off city. The mayor, who was facing 8 felony charges in relation to a perjury scandal involving an extramarital affair ( cheating on the wife ) , wanted a deal that would require him to plead guilty to two felonies, step down from office and pay a six-figure penalty in order to avoid jail time. Ehhh Sounds like a damn good movie too... script writers please....... What he got was OWNED.......... Jail baby, and Karma is a BITCH !
So what did he get in all of this ?

Kilpatrick will plead guilty to two obstruction of justice counts and six other charges will be dismissed. He will go on 5 years reporting probation, serving the first 120 days in the Wayne County Jail. That means , if within 5 years he (f's) up again, he's in jail the rest of the sentence.......He must also leave office within two weeks. He has agreed to pay $1 million in restitution, paying $20,000 at the date of sentencing and the rest over the next five years. HA! I et there are a few big men in jail waiting for his ass... in more ways than one
