Advice to  Writers
__________________

This is my favorite artistic topic to give advice on, because I can tell you what I did to become a better writer, and I mean, better from sucking as a writer to actually being happy with my writing.

#1 Every night before you go to sleep, write down one sentence that best describes your day !

IE    It is January 19th, my birthday, today was awesome, my girl friend got me a dolphin to hang on the wall.

after doing this for a year, you will be able to go back and reminisce on things you have been through, and this will help you become a better writer.

#2 Read your local news paper every day. Search for one thing in the paper that makes you want to read. This is learning from professional writers, and the best way to write.

in the book Sketches 3 I wrote, I spent 50 pages on the book called Learning, I took the word that was given in the news paper as the word of the day, and used that as the title to each poem, IE  "Muse" Being creative with how you use the elements around you can help you become a dynamic writer.

#3 Write in all different styles, contexts, and variations / dimensions ! As your writing takes on new meaning, you will see yourself write better and better !

#4 Intern for TV / Radio / Paper , and learn how the media writes for news, weather, sports, editorial, and broadcast.

#5 Network with actors and practice writing scripts for them ! This will help you learn how your writing can be put into action.

#6 Write an e- on line book like this, and pass on to others the information passed onto you !

#7 Write for as many magazines, publications, news sources as possible. On the links page you will see a link for drudgereport.com go there and network with different companies.
