I want to dedicate this writing to Tony Fields who literally and physically gave me my career. If it wasn't for him solely, I may have never gotten the chance to excel the way I have in Radio, and this book would not have even had a chance to be written. I was taught how to win, stay humble, provide for the community..... always, and  reach out to young up and coming talent to create talent. If it wasn't for Tony Fields and Bailey Coleman, talent like Lil Shawn in Orlando, Zaiti in Milwaukee, Candy Nichols ( one of Oprah's creative producers ) Lucy Lopez in Miami, DJ Fashion in Phoenix, ............ would have never been in my studio learning, and I also never would have learned from them.  Tony Fields will always live on as a legacy to 1000's of on air talent that have had the opportunity to learn from his mind in Radio Broadcasting. Next, I want to dedicate this writing to the one's who schooled me: Hollywood Hamilton, The Wild Child Hamilton, Michael Martin, Russ Allen, Phil Michaels, Bruce St. James, Don Parker, Maurice Devoe, and Harold Austin, who took my calls when they didn't have to. They have been my main mentors. I also learned in order to grow into being a true air talent, you have to make mistakes and learn from them to really move forward. 

I dedicate this book to the future of radio. In a business that can be so much fun and enjoyment, there are outside forces that are threatening the existence of the entire business and it's talent. This book is written in hopes of up lifting the spirit of future on air talent and radio people and showing you that this business can be fun if we come together and create the excitement. We as a radio community can rejuvenate our livelihood through the creation of better internships that allow live bodies to be back on the air verses voice tracking. If better internships are in place, we can build and maintain a live and local talent base to defend ourselves against the threats of the powers that are growing.  

During the coarse of my on air experiences, I spent hundreds of hours in schools in Phoenix, Milwaukee, North Chicago, Miami, and Orlando doing community service work. Meeting students that were enthralled with my job and radio broadcasting in general. The questions that these kids have are amazing. It is a reality check when you realize that you are looked up to, and that so many young kids want to know what radio is really all about. Then there are the Broadcasting School Specialty students who really show their desire just by spending a large amount of money to learn. Anyone that dedicates their time and money to the understanding of this business should not be looked down on, they should be looked at as a dedicated group of students that are paying some of their dues up front. That is, to the ones in radio that feel that Broadcasting School Specialty students aren't getting the hands on training they need. You would be surprised if you saw some of the technology and up grades schools like Brown School of Broadcasting in Minneapolis, MN. offers their students. After taking a much needed break from the daily radio schedule, ( sleeping 2 hours a night, ehhh Miami Radio can be rough  ) I decided it was time to put my knowledge to the grind and help answer some questions that young  up and coming broadcasters might have about Radio Broadcasting. I had this goal to write a realistic book about Radio Broadcasting and what it really is all about ( from the professionals that work in radio. ) In order to have learned the information I am sharing I offer this dedication:
