For you future radio people, this is how it really happens.........

If you are just settling into your first internship or thinking about it, here is some hopeful information. If you put 100% of your time, effort, and passion into what you want to do, the outcome will always be positive. One of the most uplifting things you can do as you are learning, is to read about radio as it happens. I will share 100's of places to get solid information in all aspects of Radio Broadcasting throughout this book, however, there is no better place then www.AllAccess.com to stay on top of the radio world. I will discuss All Access and other forums where you can stay ( in the know ) while you sponge up information.  If you are just seeking information about Radio Broadcasting and you are just starting to gather information, you should invest in a nice thick pad of paper and a pen, because this book will offer you more information than you will get in any class room. As you can see from above, companies love to hire from within if they can. It saves them time, money, and ratings when they have someone within the ranks ready to be a part of the working team. This is how I started and this is how close to 50% of the workforce in radio start. I am going to introduce some more players in the radio game to you, and then I want to spend some time giving you examples of directions you can go as you get into your own internship.
