One of the best ways to meet the leaders in our industry is
to attend the conventions you hear about. You will learn the ins and outs of our
business by some of the best in the business. You can also attend mini-seminars
that are held and listen to leading consultants, program directors, music
directors, record label executives, air talent, and almost every aspect of the
entertainment business as a whole that is representing. I met my 1st (PD) at the
Winter Music Conference. I met Jerry Clifton ( consultant that helped hire me to
Miami ) at an R@R convention. If you attend a convention make sure you bring
your resume, business cards, air checks, demos, and even a list of questions you
have for people. You will learn from the best industry leaders in the
Entertainment World. I am going to dedicate this page to hosting different
conventions that I feel are the best conventions for you to attend. You might
