A Dream Away

In a dream,
I once traveled to this faraway place
which was not on any map,
in a dream I lived forever,
in
a dream you had never had....
you had never heard of this place....
There I found a unique woman
who had a beautiful shine....
a transparent pair of wings
that gave her a special shine
when she started to flutter them,
i wished these wings to be mine,
I laughed because they made an usual noise
that filled the air with joy...
Since she was able to sing so well
and made me feel so good...
....I decided I needed to have her
So, I took her to my home
and cut her wings so she wouldn't fly away...
and put her into a little box
I used to carry her in my pocket
so no one could see her.....
so no one else could be her
she never seemd to mind.
The little secret we had would be safe.
The box had a small hole
from where she used to breath
and I used to feed her...
Whenever I felt lonely
or sad
I waited for everyone to leave
and opened her box
so she could sing, and sing and sing.
her voice as a feather to land on the palm my hand
as I lay in awwweeeee thinking, wow am i lucky...
But, the more time passed
the weaker she became
Her wings were cut
and she was not bright anymore.
no noise of joy
no beautiful song.
and the melody fade
So weak she was....
When I opened the box one late night
looking for happiness
I found her body
cut it into pieces
so no one could know
what was in the envelope
I sent back
to that country
which was not on any map
in the my dream I lived forever, in your dream you never had......
(love is not meant to be trapped, or solely yours, it is that of God as a gift, if taken advantage of, it is taken away) I still love! .
