Your scent has changed
because I no longer smell you
or sense you around
maybe that's why I don't like it
maybe I am in denial
Because
maybe you don't choose
the fragrance
your clothes
now
have swallowed from the presence I once loved to envy
When I get home,
I take my clothes off
immediately
and put them in the wash.
I don't know why,
exactly........
but I need
to remove that alienated scent from myself,
it didn't leave
with you
like
i hoped
it would
