Ok....... Welcome to a new spot on
the net where you can get into the world of a person that is way out there... A
daily BLOG is meant to be a gateway into someone's world that you can take a
slight glance into, and maybe laugh. I keep this BLOG so friends, family, and
listeners get a new dimension of me that normally wouldn't be known. I add
pictures, stories, phone messages, audio specs, and interview clips etc. I work
with some wild people too. I will share it all here. I usually write 2 or 3
times a month, depending on what is happening. Feel free to come through here
and read some fun stuff. I will also leave links and cool stuff for you to
listen to if you have speakers and your nosey like me. I have a thing for crazy
ent information, skies, fashion modeling / abstract photography, underground
music, abstract painting, artists with style and gut retching passion pouring
out of every word, the taste of fresh air, the scenes of the West Coast at 5:30
am facing the East from Riverside, Ca., and the color blue in water in the
marina outside the Water Ways Village, Aventura, Florida, the lost dolphins
swimming past Palm Island at dusk, and a conversation with a complete stranger

was Rock The Vote KC to

left the aftermath to
Pomeroy .... A band that
played pretty
decent....

new Director of Operations

she will be running St
Louis while I build House

I firmly believe you
can get away with anything
you want if you got the $
and the power behind you..
IE Simpson, who will
eventually be in jail
because he is just plain
DUMB, and then you have
R-Kelly who was smootching
on a 14 yr old girl, or
however old she was, and
got caught..... or kind of
got caught, and then
proved, even while
possibly being on video ,
that it wasn't him......
even when some girl was in
the room with him, and
said it was him..... ... I
suppose R-Kelly is Hi
5'n his lawyers
right now.....
In .......CHICAGO a
jury has acquitted R&B
superstar R. KELLY on all
counts at his child
pornography trial, WOW,
what a deal for RK..........
The verdict came six years
after the singer was first
charged with appearing on
a graphic videotape with a
girl prosecutors said was
supposedly as young as 13
years of age at the
time..........
Both KELLY and the now 23
year old girl..... alleged
victim had denied they
were on the tape in part
or together. Neither
testified during the
trial, and thus, NOT
GUILTY!
The best part is this
right here...........The
prosecution’s star
witness was a woman who
said she engaged in
three-way sex with KELLY
and the girl prosecutors
said was on the tape.
Defense attorneys argued
the man on the tape
didn’t have a large mole
on his back and Kelly
does.
The singer had faced 15
years in prison. |

Awake" and saw it (2) times
just to pick on the little things
that the director handed out that
led everyone besides me to know that
the characters were in on it the
whole time .......... So anyways,
not to ruina movie for you, but that
is one that you might want to see,
and wait on The Myst until it hits
free tv, because buying the DVD for
90% off will hurt......

I have been looking
for a new car now for about
3 weeks...... It's the 1st
time in life I am going to
say, Hayndai ! 40 + miles to
the gallon, and 100,000 mile
10 yr warrantee = smart
moves, I don't care if I
have the coolest car etc...
I just want to chill on
spending $200 a week on gas,
f that, I'll drive a pinto.
Wow ! It has been awhile
since I updated this
site...... I need to do
something here daily, I just
have to find time to do
it..... I realized something
tonight as I was pondering
what I would be doing if I
weren't here in KC, then I
thought..... I love
working, sounds corn ballish,
but I really love my job. I
get to be myself, act
stupid, have fun, laugh with
listeners, go out clubbing
with em, party with em, and
then remind how much they
mean to me, that they are
there and how much it means
to me that they are loyal to

Gas prices are crazy over the Holidays. We get
taken, owned, and lashed to death on a Holiday.
I wish there was a way to communicate to the
whole world.... car pool on a Holiday. It's sick
how the oil companies and gas companies gouge
the shit out of us when they know traveling is
what we do. My next car is going to be a

This past week was a wake up call to all those
who live in and around the KC areas....... Feed
The Families was basically a fund raiser we
presented on the radio last month for our
community. All of our radio stations raised over
$75,000 and then some. The pictures below are
just a few of the pictures taken. There is
something to be said for the strength and belief
people have to have within themselves to wake up
on a Saturday morning at 6am to help unload
trucks of food for the homeless and the poverty
stricken. It's also safe to say there are 1.5
billion things these people could have been
doing besides being with us to help.
Also this past week, I have started editing my
book " Making It " in Entertainment. The book is
a free E- On line book that gives great
information on the Entertainment business....
The book answers a LOT of information on the
most common asked questions artists, singers,
models, bands, writers, etc.... have about
getting started in the business. Some of the
answers come from artists like Jennifer Lopez,
Jay Z, etc.....

Tonight was the grand opening soft serve of
Caliente Restaurant at the Legends here in
KC..... For those of you out of
state types that come here to read up on the fun
times...... The Legends is just like Ebor City
in Tampa, or Universal City Walk in Orlando....
/ ehhhhhh Venice Beach, Ca. or even Lincoln Rd.
in Miami. Huge store fronts, incredible food and
now we have the 1st Cuban Cuisine style
restaurant. While I was living in Miami, Cuban
food was my thing, I loved it, ate it 3 times a
week, and missed the hell out of it when I moved
back to Cali....... Now I have a favorite new
place to eat in Kc......... Not to mention the
fact that our House Of Style Productions team is
getting ready to put on a weekly fashion show at
the restaurant. If you have never tried Cuban
food, this is 10 star quality eating...........
The food is AMAZING.................

ready to launch every Thursday night !

do a Dog show...... We're going to let models
and ordinary people show off their mutz !
hahahahahahahah ! Ok, next on my list of
catching up......... Every Saturday I host a
party at Orlandos night club in Olathe, Ks. It's
an 18 and up party that is off the
chain......... I definitely need to add pictures
from our parties, I have been lacking at
updating the pics from the contests........ they
are coming.
Earlier this afternoon I had the chance to
finish an interview with Pretty Ricky...... hook
up with a Rihanna interview, and then top it off
with Kanye West's ego ass......... It was a busy
day on the radio, but it was worth it to score a
grip of great info bits on artists that had a
lot to say. I had no clue Jay Z just did the
remix to Umbrella on his own, and Rihanna had no
clue till it was about to be
released........that is hot....... Every day is
a learning experience, so I add a lot on my

Today is a day of sadness :( Kelsey Smith is
a local girl here in Kansas City that will
always be remembered as a beautiful, smart, and
seemingly loved woman. Kelsey was shopping at a
Target store in Belton, Ks. on Saturday when she
was mysteriously whisked away by an abductor.

A murder investigation is now underway, and
they already have leads on a person of interest.
I have gotten hundreds of calls from listeners
sending there prayers and condolences. I really
hope they catch the sick *&#^ that committed
this crime, and I hope they give him the ( eye
for an eye ) treatment.
In radio land, this past weekend we spent
some time at Pride Fest. Although I don't lead
the alternative lifestyle they were celebrating,
I enjoyed Martha Wash on stage. she was amazing
and put on a hellafied show....
Also over the weekend, we celebrated the grand
opening of a new Restaurant that will soon be
opening in KC..... at the Legends called
Caliente..... The Bacardi Girls were there
to celebrate with House Of Style ! fun times !

House Of Style Productions, founded by David Hamilton with
co-creators Marc Grant, and Holly Starr
|
House Of Style Kc, the concept was created in
2006 when I moved to Kansas City and wanted to
bring a new style of learning, photography, and
group sessions together to help learn, grow, and
teach, network etc with models,
photographers, and industry seekers...... I
wanted to do something outside of radio to ( Not
) burn out, and have it be something creative
and not conflict with on air performance.....

I met up with Marc Grant while I was shooting
for Fashion House, and un-happy with the way
things were run. I wasn't happy being rushed
.... I wanted to put my early idea of House Of
Style to work, and I decided Marc Grant would be
the best person in Kansas City to share this
idea with....... after sharing the name and
idea, Marc had instant ideas to shoot out-doors
with models and do some interesting themes. Marc
Grant is one of the best photographers in the
country, and I by working with him, I am
learning some cool new ideas and twists to be a
better photographer. Since the start of coming
up with ideas of a logo and working with
industry people in the city, Holly Starr has
added her abilities to the team to make for a
better House Of Style team. Since House Of Style
Kc is a chip off the House Of Style Productions
block, we left the idea open for a house Of
Style LA, and other cities as well..... good
news is, we created an in to grow in the future.
Well, 4 months later, after a gang of meetings
and get together,,,,,, our 1st session has taken
place, and it is a HUGE success...... House Of
Style is born !

Vibe Session 3.0 went without a hitch......
perfect everything. Usually at a show or
performance there is a few problems... lights,
sound, drama, artists being late etc.... but
last night was flawless execution. I have to
thank everyone that made it to the show, we had
a blast. ! Everyone walked away with a signed
autograph and Paula Deanda walked away with a
sore hand and maybe even a sore foot from taking
a fall during her show...

I will say this, for being 17 and new to the
game, Paula handled herself like a woman who had
been in the game for years.
After a show like last
night, there is not much more to say....... the
show was amazing, Lindsay McNaulty ( winner of

Debbie, ( comedy winner of Vibe's Big Break )
also opened with comedy !

Week from Hell !

Pictured above is a group of friends that
felt a little blue, so we partied it up for a
blue occasion...... It's something you do in the
fashion world of photography when you want a
theme to go with a shoot that coincides with the
attitudes of the models.... and they were all
BLUE....... and now I can relate too.... a blue
week for Ez....
So last week Monday I completely lose my
phone.... Sprint replaces it for $50.00, which
is incredible since other services make you buy
a new phone..... :(

So I get my new phone, I have it for less
than 48 hours when my phone mysteriously gets
pushed into a 24 oz cup of Starbucks Green
Tea.... thanks to my cat, her paws, and my
stupidity for leaving the phone directly above
an un covered drink...... Soooooooooo being
embarrassed that the shi* even happened, I go to
Sprint with my ( Green Tea ) infested
phone...... and the customer service people get
me into a new phone ( AGAIN ) ...... losing all
numbers AGAIN ! So I get my new phone and not
even 24 hours later it comes up missing......
While I was carrying boxes from my truck to my
apartment, someone reached into my front seat of
my truck and took my phone, some CD's , and a
small box filled with nothing ( hahahah f'rs )
leaving me with a lost phone AGAIN............
After placing 100 flyers around my complex...
someone supposedly has turned it in ....... I am
done shooting with Fashion House all together, I
am creating House Of Style and I am working with
Marc Grant to do something solid and intriguing
with my idea..... Not sure how it is going to
work, but I am excited about the possibilities
House Of Style could have if it were put
together correctly.
Now I don't even care, because this past week
and a half while I was going through Phone
withdrawal..... I was struck down with
pneumonia, the flu, and a cough from hell......
and just tonight, my truck decided to blow a rod
in the engine...... thus leaving me sick, with
no phone, and no ride .......... In times like
this we are supposed to look to something
positive...... ehhhhhhh I am looking..... still
looking ... ok, here is something to think
about...
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !
so tonight I was in line waiting to pay for my
gallon of Theraflu mix when the lady in front of
me was going on a rant ... complaining about her
pie she insisted was not hot enough, or
whatever, I just wanted to reach out and choke
her...... for real, just choke
her........( i suppose ) not so positive, huh ?

Back From Vacation !
as a kid, this was a spot we used to go boating,
swimming, etc.......... between LA, Phoenix, and
Vegas...... picture by me.....

I spent my vacation with my son Zia, my
family, and my friends in LA, Vegas, and
Phoenix. It wasn't as warm as I thought it was
going to be Christmas weekend, and it was even a
little drab compared to the usually warm sunny
December......

While living in Vegas I forgot that #1 rule,
skip the slots...... ehhh I lost $100.000 and
that was it, I was DONE..... You always think
your going to be the one to win something.....

not so sunny.....>

right team of people but I am finding some

Ava Mae is a girl I met in Miami a few years
ago while I was working at Power 96 ..... I was
in the studio writing tracks for a grip of
people and she happened to call one night while
I was on the air and sing for us live........
the next thing you know, I had her in the studio
singing recording......

On December 31st 2000, we had a New Years party
at Club 609 in Coconut Grove, Florida .... Ava
came to the party and I put her on the spot and
put her on stage just before Mid night ! hahahah
She sang in front of 1000 people who couldn't
figure out why Mya was on stage singing.... they
loved her, and Ava was awesome at singing in
front of a crowd who really liked her style. I
recently reunited with her on My Space and I
found out she has been touring with Blu Cantrell
and some other artists, she is a beautiful woman
with a beautiful soul, and she is gifted with
the ability to sing her a(( off too !

Last night I went out to see De Ja Vu with a new
friend. The movie was pretty tight work. It was
so good I might have to see it a 2nd time just
to watch for the crazy clues that I missed the
1st time..... It was that good though, I give it
a 4 out of 5 stars ..... or a 9 out of 10 ~

Thanksgiving day was definitely not the same
for the parents of Jesse Ross (Opie of The 95.7
The Vibe Morning Show ) who was reported missing
for almost a week. Opie... as we know him on the
radio ( Jesse ) went to Chicago

with his friends last week for a school
function. Last Tuesday Opie was last seen
leaving a hotel at about 4am to walk back to his
hotel. He obviously never made it back to his
hotel. The next day he was not on his flight
back to KC. I am not sure why his friends didn't
make this an issue, but his family was
definitely asking plenty of questions Wednesday
and Thursday. Can you imagine your friend - co
worker - sister - or brother not calling,
missing, with no word from anyone? This is
sickening to think that none of his friends from
school on the trip felt obligated to search for

Thanksgiving day
started at 6:30 am as we made our way around
Kansas City feeding families ! Every family we
met on our journey was thankful and extremely
happy to have us bring them food.

I want to thank
Capitol Federal Savings and Price Chopper for
helping feed these families with 95.7 The Vibe !
I am not sure how to explain the feeling someone
goes through when they have not ate anything in
a few days. I can say this though, I know how it
feels to be hungry after not eating for 8 - 10
hours and you feel like your going to loose it,
get the jitters, and feel blah...... Imagine
that was your every day life. It happens, and
this morning this was the reality we got to see
for ourselves. One family we made a visit to was
4 kids and a mother - father in a small home
with nothing but a table and a small radio with
our radio station playing. This is a reality,
people fall into situations where this is a
realistic living situation. I am glad we were
able to provide Thanksgiving dinner to these
families !

party....... Roxy is legendary at having
parties, watching bands play, catching Joey
Lawerence, Quentin Terantino, Sean Penn,

My
friends are in a group in LA and
they just recently played Roxy to a
sold out crowd. There is also an up
and coming group called GTN or Gone
Till November. They will be doing
some shows soon too. Just a few new
up and coming artists that are
gearing up for the stage. This past
weekend I found out the girl I was
dating was a trick, she was dating a
few others behind my back : (
ehhhh whatever, I am glad I am
single, it's much easier than
dealing with DRAMA.

Beyonce and the gang are coming in a
month. I can't wait. Eddie Murphy,
Jamie Foxx, Beyonce, and the
crew...... The soundtrack is the
going to be filled with new Beyonce
trax as well. I am geeked, I can't
wait to see the movie. I am excited
to see the love scene Beyonce ends
up in with Jamie Foxx. Ok, I am a
movie buff kinda guy, I love movies
in general, and this happens to be
one that is worth watching.

Thursday, November
16th, 2006 ... the night before the big push to
sell PS3's ........ Best Buy had 100's of people
represent, just to get a PS3. Sweet Lenny and BJ
( Night show ) came up with an idea to hand out
hot chocolate and donuts, thus the Krispy Kreme
Dunuts we gave to everyone in line with hot
chocolate to warm the spirits of the cold hands
and toes......

We met a
few hundred people that were quick
to give up what they wouldn't trade
for the new PS3.... Dates with
Pamela Anderson, $, and more.... not
even a thought to the ones that
wanted the PS3 ! As you can see, the
inside of the tents that were set up
outside Best Buy were like
mini-homes ! They had a fireplace,
foot warmers, and warm gear to get
em through the night. Big Ben and
his tribe were one of the 1st to get
their hands on a PS3 and it was well
worth the wait..... Merry X Mas to
him and his family....

The Saga continues

It is
safe to say there were (some)
creative costumes.... and a whole
lot of sexy renditions of cops,
firefighters, and even a few
bunnies..... Monster Bash 2006
took place on October 31st, 2006 at
Radius Night Club with close to 2500
people partying it up with us. By
the end of the night, I am not so
sure anyone could have remembered
anything that took place.....
including the costume contest which
was apparently won by Edward
Scissorhands....... I met a few up
and coming models for House Of
Style, a new company I am putting
ideas together for.... I am
practicing my inside lighting
training with Fashion House....
exactly my point

Monster Bash 2006 was probably one
of the best Halloween parties I have
ever been to. I was at a LOT of
parties .. South Beach style themes
parties in Miami and LA, and Monster
Bash 2006 was on fire compared to
them. If you missed the party,
there's always next year, but I
can't promise you it will be better
than the party I am still sobering
up from....... |

As you
know, Scarlette Johanson is
Esquire's woman of the year. Not
because of her acting, although she
didn't do entirely bad in my book as
far as her acting skills are
concerned, she definitely is a
hottie in The Prestige. I rate the
movie a 6 1/2 out of 10. The story
line takes a little too long to kick
into, but once it does, the movie
starts to reel you in.
By the way, this past weekend I flew
to visit some family for a day. Yha
know, if you stick your wallet,
change, papers, and keys in your
coat pocket with your phone and all
the other clutter you are trying to
roll with, it makes getting through
security sooooooooo much easier.
When you have to spend 5 minutes
digging through pockets, taking a
watch off, and drama like that, your
HOLDING UP THE LINE, which results
in people like me that miss a flight
because of it...... pictured

I just
want to say this.... The Grudge 2
was the biggest disappointment for a
scary movie than any movie I
have seen thus far. I am not so sure
a 2 year old would have walked out
of the theatre scared. I would
normally do a write up in my movie
review section that I haven't had
time to keep up with, but I am
trying to remain a positive person,
and that write up would go something
like " the movie SUCKED " they
should have paid me to watch that
movie. I could have spent 2 hours
washing my 2 ft. high pile of
clothes I have growing in my house.
I could have spent 2 hours walking
in circles naked singing bible songs
in Hebrew for more
entertainment....... ok ok ok .....
so .... yes, it has been a minute
since I last added pictures of
events. I went through a death in my
family and I am just now getting
back into the swing of things at
work.
I want to give props to Lexi for
working her booty off on my Ez logo
..... it is coming along lovely....
I also want to say wussup to
everyone that came out to The Beast
and The Edge Of Hell to hang out
with us ( Sweet Lenny, Shorty and
The Boys, and Maurice ) we have had
a blast, and the saga continues this
Friday.
Lastly, I am loving this new camera
I recently invested in. I have been
into photography for 10 years and I
have never really been happy with
anything I have done. I have taken
some really intense pictures of
artists, radio station events, and
people, but I have never truly been
satisfied with my work. It's almost
the same as my love for radio. I
guess I just compare myself to the
best of the best, which is good in
some ways. It makes you realize
there is much to learn no matter
where you are in your career,
regardless of what you do. As a
radio personality, I grow every day.
Same with my photography hobby....
I will say this.... It's not the
camera, the lens, or the person you
are shooting..... It's your ability
to see something exciting in a
person or object, and then to
capture the essence of the moment,
and reiterate what's in your mind
when you edit. Marc Grant and Randy
Mckown are two of the best
photographers I have ever worked
with, and they are right here in KC.
Imagine that, I have worked with
some wild ones, but their work is
STELLAR, and I love learning from
them. As my work gets better, you
can bet some of the styles came from
the best...... |

We went
to the concert not really knowing
what to expect. I had read some
previous write-ups on Chris Brown
and Ne-Yo, but you can never tell
what is real verses what might have
been a bad day, a long trip, a long
weekend, and anything else that
might alter an artist's performance.
Especially when reading a write-up
on a performance...... The little
things the average person knows
nothing about, IE a bad flight, a
long night and early wake ups....
etc...... Chris Brown and Ne-Yo both
put it down to make the fan's money
worth the ticket price. Chris
Brown's tribute to Michael Jackson
was most definitely a
highlight in the show. I don't want
to ruin it for anyone that goes to
see his show in another city, but
that is one thing to look forward
to. If your a fan or Prince, Michael
Jackson, Usher, or a huge dance fan,
you will love the show these two
cats put on. Below is a picture that
we thought had to be taken. Not
dissing anyone, but it's a funny,

We went
to the premiere of Johnny
Knoxville's, 'Jack Ass 2' this
evening. Hilarious. If you need to
laugh a little or a LOT, you will
get a few laughs to a chuckle, even
if you have no sense of humor /
personality or ability to understand
a hilarious moment. After the movie
I had about 50 people give their
opinions of the movie, and there was
not one bad comment. Everyone
admitted they laughed at something,
and all loved it. If there is one
movie you are guaranteed to find
some type of comedy in, this might
be the one that will get you out of
that rut your in...... Bad day ???
go see this movie.
By the way, thank god the gas prices
are coming down a little.
Damn.......... $45.00 for a tank of
gas is killing it. |

my little cousin who was taken by Cancer this
morning at age 28 :(

I know this world is made up events
that represent life and death......
My cousin just got married, just
graduated college, and just started
living life..... His life was cut
WAY to short by a disease that shows
no mercy....... called Cancer.
Pete was only 28 yrs
old :( He was my closest cousin... It was just
yesterday that we played in the backyard in
Pleasant Prairie / North Chicago, went on trips
to Whitewater to party, and talked about all the
fun he had in Madison as a student. Life
is full of ups and downs, ins and outs, and
losing a relative is not a distant 2nd to losing
a piece of yourself. Kristen, his widow, is
loved from afar, I only hope she knows she has a
strong family to be there for her if she ever
needs us to be. RIP Pete, hope heaven is
treating you lovely. His mother is my god
mother.... I know she feels sick, as I do.....
all I can do is pray and hope for the best in my
family to be strong. |

CC is my NY home girl !

My
friend Christine was living in NY
and looking for an internship in the
music world..... It just so happened
that some family of mine was talking
to Andrew Gould ( Epic Records )
about an internship. Come to find
out Andrew was looking for an
intern, I gave Christine the
information and she went for it. At
the time Christine was helping me
find talent to promote and market
for my indi-promo-label Ez Street
Records, so she was perfect for what
Andrew was looking for. We set up
accounts all over the country to
find hidden talent, and it worked,
so she had experience finding
groups...... Sooooo .... Christine
found her way into an internship at
Epic Records workign with
Andrew.....
Christine's first group she found
was "Gone Til November" .... she
called me up one night and said "
listen to this girl's voice, it's
amazing !"........... And that is
how goes it...
Long story short, Andrew met with
the group and they are now signed to
something major.
The sad part of this story is how
the group never reached out to her
to thank her for helping them get
noticed until just recently..... So
sad, timing is everything in this
business, and at that very moment,
the label could have found a
different group, better or worse,
and signed them ...... leaving Gone
Til November.... Gone....... So
therefore, If it wasn't for
Christine's attempt to help the
group, it is a greater possibility
they wouldn't be signed, or maybe
signed to a different label. Both
the label and the group owe her.....
BIG TIME.....
Regardless of how Christine is
rewarded for helping "Gone Til
November " nothing can change the
fact that this girl has an ability
un-like others....... a unique
ability to see something strong and
believe in it enough to help it
elevate...... This business is all
about art and a unique mind that is
meant to be a part of it. I suppose
their attitude is one of the whack
ones, like, ( we would have gotten
signed anyways.... ) whatever......
We know who really made it
happen.... contrary to how I feel
about the pre-madonna ways of the
group, their music is good. I loved
the song "Melt" since day 1.
