De Ja Vu

• De Ja Vu takes you on a twisted ( what if ) style hypothetical journey into the past while watching what happened in real time, while your watching behind the time, in which time passed,,,,, Oh, and just in time to solve the crime, or ( maybe not ) ..... since it has already happened and you were a part of it the whole time ( so-to-speak) If I have already lost you in translation, good, then you know your getting your money's worth by the end of the movie. Denzel Washington has always been one ofg my favorite actors just on his incredible laid back, yet intense demeanor in his delivery and body language. This movie will have you on the edge of your seat as you piece together the parts and pieces that tell the story in part, or in whole, depending on how you view the ending. I personally give this movie **** 4 stars out of 5 for it's excellence in delivery. This is definitely a movie I would see 2 times, maybe 3, and then buy the DVD.... I thought it was that good.

  Entertainment Weekly calls the Russell Crowe vineyard romance flick A Good Year "nothing more than a bad harvest." Variety calls A Good Year "a simple repast consisting of sometimes strained slap-sticky comedy, a sweet romance and a life lesson learned -- this little picnic doesn't amount to much but goes down easily enough." The New Yorker says, "Even judged by the not excessively demanding standards of middle-aged renovation fantasies, A Good Year isn't much." Rolling Stone calls Babel "the year's richest, most complex and ultimately most heartbreaking film." The New York Post says of Babel, "This is a serious movie overflowing with memorable acting, unforgettable images, searing tragedy, unexpected humor and an eloquent plea for international understanding." Variety says, "A psychotic seizure of a performance by Christian Bale dominates Harsh Times, the directorial debut of David Ayer that channels Taxi Driver." The Hollywood Reporter says Harsh Times' "unrelenting bleakness and misanthropic tone is likely to be a turnoff to mainstream performances, but it provides its lead actor  Christian Bale with another opportunity to display his riveting intensity." The Village Voice says of Harsh Times, "Whatever political statement Ayer intended to make with his Gulf-War-veteran-turned-human-time-bomb is swamped by the movie's obnoxious badass envy, and Bale's gloating display of American Psycho fireworks, the kind of vein-popping show-boating that might as well be performed in a mirror." Entertainment Weekly calls Stranger Than Fiction "an eminently easy-to-watch piece of one-joke pop japery. [It] is a movie that mimics the I'm-a-character-in-my-own-life metaphysical playfulness of The Truman Show." The Austin Chronicle says, "A good movie but not a great one, Stranger Than Fiction is reminiscent of the films of Charlie Kaufman (Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) but lacks that writer's conceptual rigor and imaginative power." The L-A Weekly says Stranger Than Fiction "teems with ideas both literary and existential, which might make it unbearably precious, were it not redeemed by woozy charm and some serious acting from Will Ferrell."
